Simple vanilla Fudge recipe condensed milk

This Vanilla Bean fudge is as easy to make as it is gorgeous! Add it to your holiday cookie plate or serve it at a party.

Vanilla Bean Fudge

Hallelujah, it’s fudge season!

I sort of turn into the Cookie Monster of fudge whenever it’s around… not such a pretty sight. Imagine a fudge-smeared face, sticky fingers, and a trail of those little candy cup wrappers like breadcrumbs from the box of fudge to me. It’s intense.

But totally worth it. And my very favorite kind of fudge? The kind that I make in my own kitchen! I never had a great track record with fudge before I started making it myself. It seemed like the fudge I’d always tried on holiday cookie plates or at those fancy chocolate stores at the mall was always dried out and crumbly. No thank you!

I like soft, silky fudge that melts in my mouth (not crumbles!). And I’ve found a lot of success using this basic easy recipe. It’s just two main ingredients, and there are so many different ways you can make it! In fact, I have another variation coming your way tomorrow! Fudge much? (see? I get crazy when I start making fudge– can’t stop.)

This white chocolate-based fudge is the very first recipe I tried, and I think I like it even better than actual chocolate fudge. I’ve added vanilla paste to this particular recipe to make it a vanilla bean fudge– so yum! If you’d like, you could also drizzle a little white chocolate over top and add some sprinkles, like I did, for a little extra holiday flare :)

Yield: 24-30 pieces (9x9 dish)

Ingredients:

3 cups white chocolate or white candy melts

14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk

1 tbsp vanilla bean paste (OR 1 vanilla bean, scraped)

Optional: white melting candy for drizzling over top and sprinkles

Directions:

Prepare a 9x9 baking dish by lining it with foil or parchment paper.

Over LOW* heat in a medium saucepan, stir together the sweetened condensed milk, the vanilla paste, and the white chocolate until melted and smooth. This may take up to 10 minutes, but DO NOT increase the heat! Just keep stirring...

Once smooth, pour the mixture into the lined baking dish. Let cool completely (you can speed set the fudge by placing it in the refrigerator for up to 20 minutes), 3-4 hours.

Once cooled completely and set, cut into 1" squares for packaging and serving.

Optional: drizzle with melted candy and sprinkles!
